Listening to noise event audio
Who is this article for?Noise analysts who need to play back a noise event recording.
Access to the ANOMS Noise Analyst Workbench is required. Audio capture must be enabled for the monitoring terminal.
If your noise monitoring terminals record audio, you can replay the sound of a noise event directly from the Noise Events Browser to confirm by ear whether an event was caused by an aircraft.
Playing back a noise event recording
To listen to a noise event:
- Load data into the Noise Events Browser.
- Right-click the noise event you want to listen to.
- Click Play Audio.
The noise event plays through an external audio player.
Note: The Audio File column in the Noise Events Browser shows whether a recording is available for the event.
