Monitoring noise data from terminals

ANOMS monitors noise data from the noise monitoring terminals (NMTs) configured at the airport and in the surrounding area, and stores the details as a Noise Event. The data stored for a Noise Event is defined in the NMT parameters and depends on the requirements of the airport.

Correlating noise events with flight tracks

The system compares noise event information to flight tracks occurring at the time of the noise event. If a noise event matches a flight, the two are correlated.

Analysing and reporting violations

Once this data is stored, you can analyse it and report against aircraft that exceed noise levels.
