Who is this article for?

Noise analysts who need to print reports or export them to PDF, Word or Excel.

Access to the ANOMS Noise Analyst Workbench is required.

Any report open in the Report Viewer can be printed or exported to a range of file formats, including PDF, Word and Excel.

Understanding available formats

ANOMS can print a report or export it to the following formats:

• Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
• Microsoft Word (.doc)
• Crystal Report (.rpt)
• Microsoft Excel (.xls)
• Microsoft Excel Data Only (.xls)
• Rich Text Format (.rtf)

Excel Data Only exports the data without the report layout, which is useful when you want to work with the figures rather than the formatted report.

Printing a report

To print a report:

1. In the Report Viewer, click Print.
2. Select the local network printer.
3. Click OK.

Exporting a report to PDF

To export a report to PDF:

1. In the Report Viewer, click Export Report.
2. In the Save In box, select the file location.
3. In the File name box, type a file name.
4. In the Save as Type list, select Adobe Acrobat.
5. Click Save.

The same steps apply for the other formats — just choose a different type in the Save as Type list.
