Understanding Violations Browser fields
Who is this article for?Noise analysts who need a reference for the fields in the Violations Browser.
Access to the ANOMS Noise Analyst Workbench is required. Browser fields are site-configurable and may vary.
The Violations Browser displays aircraft and community noise-related violation records, storing information about excessive noise levels, restricted hours operations, or flight path deviations that airports can track according to their own policies.
Using the Violations Browser
The Violations Browser allows you to:
- Search for violations in a specific time range
- Export data to the clipboard or Excel worksheet
- View violation properties
- Print violation records
Understanding field definitions
The following table describes each field in the Violations Browser:
Field | Description |
Date Time | Date and time of the violation |
Owner Name | Name of the aircraft owner |
Max Level | The maximum noise level (Lmax) for the event (noise-related violations only) |
Status | Airport's code to describe the status of the violation letter |
Tail No. | Registration number of the aircraft |
Flight No. | Flight identification number, including airline |
Oper Type | Flag for operation type (A = arrival, D = departure, O = overflight, G = ground, T = training/touch and go) |
AC Type | Type of aircraft |
Runway | Runway where the aircraft activity occurred |
RMT Loc Id | Identification number of the specific noise monitoring site where the event was recorded (noise-related violations only) |
Letter Date | Date of the violation letter sent from the airport to the violator/owner |
Response Date | Date of the response |
(Response) Status | Airport's code to describe the status of the response |
