Exporting browser data
Who is this article for?Noise analysts who need to export browser data to Excel, CSV or other applications.
Access to the ANOMS Noise Analyst Workbench is required.
Once a browser or graph contains the data you need, you can export it to Excel, CSV or image formats, or copy it straight into another application.
Exporting a graph as an image
From a graph window you can export the graph to a graphic file format such as BMP, GIF, JPG, TIFF or PNG.
To export a graph as an image:
- In the graph window, click Export.
- In the Save in box, select a file location.
- In the File name box, type a name.
- In the Save as type list, click the required format.
- Click Save.
Exporting to Microsoft Excel
From the browsers you can export the selected rows to an Excel workbook, then use Excel's tools to format the data and produce reports.
To export data to Excel:
- In the browser, select the required data.
- Click Export.
A new Excel workbook opens, populated with the selected data.
Exporting to a CSV file
Exporting to a Comma Separated Variable (CSV) file is only available from the Operations Browser.
To export data to CSV:
- In the Operations Browser, select the required data.
- Click the Export selected operations button.
- Save the file to the required location.
Copying data to other applications
From the browsers you can use standard copy and paste to move data into other applications.
To copy data to another application:
- Select the required data.
- Click Copy.
- Navigate to the target application (for example, Microsoft Word) and paste.
