Using the Aircraft Browser field reference and Aircraft Registry
Who is this article for?Noise analysts who need a reference for Aircraft Browser fields and the Aircraft Registry.
Access to the ANOMS Noise Analyst Workbench is required. Browser fields are site-configurable and may vary.
The Aircraft Browser displays aircraft ownership and airframe records correlated to your Operations data, with fields for owner details, airframe specifications, and engine information.
Understanding what you can do with the Aircraft Browser
The Aircraft Browser allows you to:
- Display aircraft records correlated to Operations
- Quickly access the Aircraft Registry editor to edit aircraft records
- Copy aircraft records to the clipboard or to an Excel worksheet
- Print aircraft records
Aircraft records are correlated to Operations based on tail number, and many Operations can relate to one aircraft. When correlated data is loaded into the Aircraft and Operations Browsers and browser linking is on, the correlated Aircraft and Operation records are highlighted in both browsers.
Identifying supported aircraft registry sources
ANOMS supports aircraft information from the following aircraft registry databases:
- FAA data
- Buchair
- JetNET
- Navcanada
- Mexican Aviation

Note: Browser fields are configurable and can vary by site. Contact your ANOMS administrator if your columns differ.
Viewing the Aircraft Registry from an Operation
Note: The Aircraft Registry can only be populated from the Operations Browser.
To display the Aircraft Registry from an Operation:
- In the Operations Browser, select the Operation record.
- Right-click and select Aircraft Registration from the menu.
- On the Aircraft Browser toolbar, click Properties.
The Aircraft Registry window appears.
Viewing the Aircraft Registry from an aircraft record
To display the Aircraft Registry from an aircraft record:
- In the Aircraft Browser, select the aircraft record.
- Right-click and select Aircraft Registration from the menu.
- On the Aircraft Browser toolbar, click Properties.
The Aircraft Registry window appears.
