Noise analysts who need to control the date and time range of a query.

Access to the ANOMS Noise Analyst Workbench is required.

You can control the date and time range of your queries using three different period types: absolute, relative, or interactive.

Using an absolute period

With an absolute period, you specify the start date and time, and either a finish date and time or a duration. The duration can be in minutes, hours, days, months, or years.

To set an absolute period:

1. Click Absolute.
2. Select a start date and time.
3. Do one of the following:
   • Click Finish and select an end date and time
   • Enter a Duration: type an interval and select the interval type

For example, to search for data within a one-hour period, type 60 in the interval box and select Minutes as the interval type. For an entire day, type 1440 (the number of minutes in a day). The period searched is the start date and time plus the interval you specify.

Using a relative period

With a relative period, you select a period relative to the current day, so a saved query always returns current data.

To set a relative period:

1. Click Relative.
2. From the Relative list, select the required period.

Available relative periods include:

• Today
• Yesterday
• Day before yesterday
• Last week
• Last 7 days
• Last 28 days
• Last 31 days
• This week (to date)
• This month (to date)
• This year (to date)
• Last month
• Last year

Using an interactive period

With an interactive period, you specify the required dates each time the query is run. This is most useful with saved queries that you re-run regularly for different date ranges.

To set an interactive period:

1. Click Interactive.
