Changing Track Statistics colours and dispersion-layer transparency
Who is this article for?Noise analysts who want to adjust how Track Statistics display on the map.
Access to the ANOMS Noise Analyst Workbench is required.
The colours of the Track Statistics lines and dispersion layer, and the transparency of the dispersion layer, are controlled from the Map Colours dialogue.
Changing the colour of displayed Track Statistics
To change the colour of Track Statistics:
- On the map toolbar, click the Map Colours button.
- In the Map Colours dialogue box, under Colour Scheme, select User.
- In the Map Colours window, click the Track Statistics tab.
- Click the colour box next to the dispersion colour or line colour you want to change (you may need to scroll down).
- In the Colour dialogue box, select a colour from the palette, or define a custom colour.
- In the Map Colours dialogue box, click Apply.
The colour of the map feature is changed in the Map Browser.
Changing the transparency of the dispersion layer
To change the transparency of the dispersion layer:
- On the map toolbar, click the Map Colours button.
- In the Map Colours dialogue box, under Colour Scheme, select User.
- In the Map Colours window, click the Track Statistics tab.
- Slide the Transparency slider to the desired level (0% is solid colour, 100% is totally transparent).
- In the Map Colours dialogue box, click Apply.
Note: The transparency change applies to the next calculated dispersion layer — recalculate the plot to see the new transparency.
